Art, Design and Dining in Style – Roman & Williams Guild, SoHo

  • Roman & Williams Guild 53 Howard Street New York, NY (map)

Join me for another one of my favorite Artist Date experiences in NYC!

In an exclusive collaboration with Debbie Wells, we will step inside Roman & Williams Guild, a 7,000-square-foot SoHo destination where interiors, furnishings, and artisanal objects come together to create a world of inspiration and beauty.

Our morning begins at the Guild Gallery, where we will experience the latest exhibition featuring the acclaimed Japanese artist Kiko Hirai. Known for her sculptural ceramics, Hirai creates pieces that blur the line between art and functional object. Her work is celebrated for its organic forms, subtle textures, and delicate balance between strength and fragility—qualities that evoke both nature’s rhythms and refined contemporary design. Born in Japan and educated internationally, Hirai has exhibited widely and is regarded as a rising voice in the global ceramics movement.

From there, we’ll continue just around the corner to the magnificent Roman & Williams Guild showroom—a 7,000-square-foot SoHo destination where interiors, furnishings, and artisanal objects come together in one extraordinary vision.

We’ll enjoy a curated tour through the Guild’s remarkable collection of original furniture, lighting, and works by artisans from around the globe, immersing ourselves in craftsmanship, design, and storytelling.

To crown the experience, we’ll gather for a prix fixe lunch at La Mercerie, the French-inspired restaurant nestled inside the Guild. Our group will enjoy the only private table within Roman & Williams Guild itself, as Chef Marie-Aude Rose presents a seasonal menu of French classics reimagined.

Price: $225 per guest (includes private tours and lunch beverages not included)

This exclusive experience is limited to 10 guests—an intimate occasion to connect with fellow lovers of art, design, and culture.
